For Mac OSX: Stop any application from appearing in the dock! Many applications where you would want this functionality already allow you to do this in their preferences, but sometimes, there are applications that don’t offer the “hide icon” feature. In my case, I have an Apple USB 56k Modem hooked up to my Mac, and using a program called “Call Wall”, all phone calls that come in are displayed as Growl notifications. I love it, but could do without the application taking up Dock space. I fired up Dock Dodger, dragged in Call Wall, and now I’m all set. Call Wall now runs, but without any dock icon.

Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life.
So I used this application and it worked, but now I kinda wish it didn’t. I would like to know how to undo my actions because I realized it’s move convenient for this app to see the icon in the dock when I open it. Help, please! I sorta panicked and dragged it to the trash to see if that would work but it didn’t. D:
Outstanding info indeed. My mother has been awaiting for this tips.
